Dine at TURQUESA located poolside. The International breakfast buffet opens 7:00am – 11:00am. The international lunch buffet opens Noon – 4:00pm. If your Cozumel cruise ship is in port late enough, stay for dinner, too. Opening at 6:00pm, TURQUESA features Italian cuisine. (Dinner dress code here is long pants, collared shirt and shoes required).
Check out the FLAMINGO SNACK BAR for snacks and lunch. This is our poolside bar and grill and it is open for your dining pleasure from 11:00am through 5:00pm. If you can stay, dinner here is at 7:00pm serving fine cuts.

Dive Cozumel
An independently operated dive shop at the Cozumel Palace offers scuba-diving instruction, including a beginner’s course, a refresher course, etc. The shop also arranges reef, wall, wreck, and snorkeling tours, and rents scuba diving and additional snorkeling gear. The hotel maintains complimentary lockers for gear next to the dive shop. On most dates, you can enjoy a poolside Scuba diving demonstration! Got Kids? A kids’ club for ages 4-12 keeps young travelers entertained throughout the day, along with the kiddie pool and playground.

Sue Kmet, BTS member, recently named the “State Wide Volunteer of the Year”

Hey BTS-ers!! Join us in congratulating fellow member Sue Kmet, of the Classy Sassy and Sophisticated chapter of Central Iowa who was recently named the “State Wide Volunteer of the Year” for the Iowa Chapter of Make A Wish. http://iowa.wish.org/news-and-events/recent-events/

And just a note for those of you who might have missed these other announcements, here are more national and local awards won last year by BTS members and chapters:

1)Our partner, The American Red Cross, named BTS member Clair Boyer their Volunteer of the Month for her dedicated community service and her support of charitable projects
2) Bethany for Children in the Midwest held their formal annual awards banquet and honored our BTS Quad Cities Chapter for “making a positive difference in the lives of others”
3) Our “Santiniees Chapter” in Santee, CA received an award from the City of Santee for their “valuable contributions to the City of Santee”
4) We were acknowledged as “change agents” for our GoodWorks Program by Healthywomen.org, an organization who promotes women’s programs for health and well-being.

I am planning the “I Didn’t Know That About You” Meet and Greet Event. You will be finding things about your fellow BTS Sisters that you did not know. To do that, you need to tell me something that not everyone knows about you (but are willing to share). For example; you have the BTS logo tattooed on your butt, you take a striptease class, or you collect gumball machines. See, it ‘s not hard to share. Email me back at “btssantee@cox.net“, and let me know what you would like to share. Make it fun. At our Meet and Greet you will get a list of all the unknown secrets. You will then try to find the BTS Sister that matches to the secrets. There will be prizes for the winner.
